Jewelry Class: California Prep Moving On…

I am happy to present to you my Basics in Jewelry Class, Grade 9 and 10. This class is excited and I can’t stop them from learning more. It has already proven annoying as they can’t stop asking me to teach them more.

Now, they are working with the technique, “Piercing.” This is the very basic technique that they need to learn before they can make rings, bangles, and pendants.

I am very proud of you guys. Let us make California Prep International School become a great place to learn new exciting things!

Ali Bernie Buga-y has been a teacher in arts and music to different international schools in Thailand for nine years until he decided to enjoy the full time lifestyle of being a visual artist. Together with his family, he travels to different national parks in Thailand to experience true encounters in nature and the wildlife. His love for the birds and animals is the driving force that motivates him to photograph and paint them as seen in the wild. The joys of birding can only be shared through visual representations of these lovely feathered creatures carefully studied and observed in their natural habitat. As a graduate of Theology, he perfectly understands that somehow man should find ways to emerge himself to an edenic experience here on earth; and through these physical experiences man may again find spirituality beholding nature. Complicated as it may seem, Bernie finds it refreshing to the mind and soul as nature reveals itself when he observes and study them carefully through photography.

      Hi Simran,

There are a lot of painting strategies and you can search them online, but the greatest technique will always come from within you. As you have made more experiences in painting, the more you develop your own techniques and this is the most important thing that should happen to an artist, finding your own technique.

      Hi Sindy,

Remembering things in art is not a chore. First keep yourself into art and then you automatically just remember everything when you use these ideas and skills. There are a lot of techniques but you can always develop you own and this is the most important.
