Ali Bernie Buga-y has been a teacher in arts and music to different international schools in Thailand for nine years until he decided to enjoy the full time lifestyle of being a visual artist. Together with his family, he travels to different national parks in Thailand to experience true encounters in nature and the wildlife. His love for the birds and animals is the driving force that motivates him to photograph and paint them as seen in the wild. The joys of birding can only be shared through visual representations of these lovely feathered creatures carefully studied and observed in their natural habitat. As a graduate of Theology, he perfectly understands that somehow man should find ways to emerge himself to an edenic experience here on earth; and through these physical experiences man may again find spirituality beholding nature. Complicated as it may seem, Bernie finds it refreshing to the mind and soul as nature reveals itself when he observes and study them carefully through photography.

the reason why I want to join this campaign is not just for the coloured pencils, but also so that i can do something responsible and meaningful and that i can be serious with rather than wasting my time chatting in Facebook. I love art very much and I really want to be quite serious with it. I don’t want to be just someone who draws and write stuff, i want to be a person who is recognized as being creative and talented (I hope) in a particular category of art, like making comics. If I can have those water coloured pencils, I would work vigorously on my talent and make it in the highest quality possible… I would like to try out for category A, B, and C….

I deserve to get Van Gogh watercolor pencil because I wanted to give it to my grandpa who is an artist. He has to use water color for painting stuff, so i wonder if i get this Van Gogh watercolor pencil. I would give it to my grandpa, so it would be easier for him to paint or color stuff. Grandpa and I love to paint and draw stuffs like animal, plants e.g. I love my grandpa so much that’s why I wanted this watercolor pencil for him. Today I saw him with a picture that painted of a ring that he wanted to make in his factory. His is a ceramics factory, so it’s very hard to make. My grandpa wanted to know how to make ceramic and continue his factory, when I grow up. I wanted his watercolor pencil, so I can design stuff with my favorite grandpa.

      Hi Mimi,

I am glad that you are joining this campaign and the concern that you have for you grand father is really moving. Surely these colors will give him a good time in painting watercolour works just like drawing. Using the brush after he has sketched his work, with enough water the pencil markings will blend with water right away.

Mimi, we are rewarding you the Category C of 30 colours of Van Gogh Watercolour Pencils.

Please following the rest of the instructions and tasks for you to claim them. The deadline will be in November, 2012.

I see the water colour pencils and i think it will really help me improve my anime drawings. i like to draw anime and would have them in color, too. But I don’t have enough materials in hand. These nice arts pencils can also be expensive. I am in grade 5 and I really like doing art and making things.

I have taken pictures of my anime work. You can see them here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.302171316563417.71977.100003116548084&type=1&l=91846e6c75.

I really would love to have these pencils. I want to be an animator someday. I wish I get to have these pens 😉

I would like to join this campaign to help me practice with my art skills. I’m trying to improve my originality at the moment and I would like these watercolor pencils to help me with it. I have been inspired by my cousin to do drawings from your heart, even if it isn’t much. I want to try following him by practicing.

I plan to use these pencils to help me with it. I want to show people that I love art, especially anime and graffiti. I try to draw them a lot, but I think I will still need lots of practice to become better.

    Joining category C

I want these colour pencils because I think it will really help me with my future art exam. It will be very useful for me, instead of using watercolour which you need a lot of tools, this will probably help me to make everything more simple. I also think that with good colours my art works will have even better quality, like my drawings and sketches. Art makes me happy, and in the future I want to make art works which make other people happy or at least smile because of my work. I believe that colour makes everything better, when people see colours they’ll become more attracted to it, which is exactly what I want from my art work, people’s surprised face, when they look at it, I want them to think “wow, did she really do this?”. These colour pencils will help me practice more in the future . Thank you.

The reasons I joined the campaign are because I like to practice more in arts. I want to improve my skills in drawing and coloring. It is an expression of me through my drawing. In art I can make many things from my mind. I can do a lot with pencils, water colors and drawing paper.
Art can make me use my brain into something beautiful. I can express myself without talking. It makes my free time more meaningful. I don’t waste my time talking or watching TV or even glued to the computer. In art I can share it with others too. It brings out the creative part of me.
I want to join also because I want to learn more about art and of course I hope I can win the prize so I can use to develop my skills in art especially in water colors and pencils.

I believe that I deserve to get a Van Gogh watercolor pencil because I wanted to give it to my son as a present for Christmas. Right now, he’s in kindergarten and we really need it for him to use for painting in his art class and other activities. My son loves to paint and draw. At his age, we really need more materials for his painting activity. I guess it’s the best present for him for this coming Christmas. I hope I can be one of those who will receive a Van Gogh watercolor pencil. Thank you!

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to be an artist. I loved to draw for hours on end. I created countless drawings during my free time. And finally I got a civil engineering degree. The passion for art on aesthetic and structural designs becomes my profession. As I became older, I shifted my passion on a different kind of art- the art of teaching. Lately, I engrossed myself in the art of photography. My parents were both professional photographers and were very good at it. In fact, they had their own Photo studio that catered to clients from different walks of life.
I am now working as a Math and Physics teacher. Together with my wife, we’re very happy and blessed with three kids. My wife is an artist herself and she’s doing quite well with the art of Music. I have been observing my children lately, and I found out that my daughter CJ has the passion for visual arts, particularly in drawing and sketching. Recently, she asked me to let her continue joining the art club at school so she can go on learning more about art. I am very happy with the kind of attitude that she is displaying towards her interest.
At present art materials are becoming more costly. Art has become a luxury that a lot cannot afford to avail of. Only a few have the opportunity to acquire quality art materials. As a father who wants to support my daughter’s dream, I would like to take this rare chance for CJ to be able to use these kinds of expensive and quality art supplies. I am happy that through http://www.abbcreations.com acquiring these things will become a reality. Van Gogh Watercolor Pencils will be a special gift for my daughter.
